Product Description

Double Facer for Corrugated Cardboard Production Line

The double facer, also known as the double backer, serves as the forming hub of a corrugated board production line. This critical equipment bonds single-face corrugated board with a liner (face sheet) and presses them into sturdy double-wall or multi-wall corrugated board, determining the final physical strength and quality of the finished product.

Core Function: Transforming Semi-Finished to Finished Product

While the single facer produces corrugated medium with one liner attached (single-face board), the double facer completes the manufacturing process:

Bonding and Curing: Applies adhesive to flute tips and precisely laminates with another liner
Shaping and Pressing: Applies pressure and heat through heated plates to gelatinize and cure adhesive, forming stable arch bridge structures

Structural Features

★The double-sided machine laminates glued single-sided corrugated paper with facial paper using heated platen heating for glue paste application and stereotyping to produce flat cardboard.

★Hot plate surface is ground finished, with 18 pieces total at 600mm width each, featuring 5-meter cooling stereotypes. Hot plates use container board construction with enclosed pressure certification.

★Internal thermal panels feature partition isolation structure with S-shaped steam flow and steam-water separation for improved efficiency.

★Pneumatic pressure plate structure with 14 sets of spring pneumatic pressure plates as standard.

★Multi-section temperature control with display for heating plate heat pipes.

★Upper cotton webbing with automatic centering and double cylinder S-shaped tensioning device.
